Special Issue on Haptics, Tactile and Multimodal Interfaces
ASME Journal of Computing Sciences and Information in Engineering
Scope :
JCISE is soliciting papers for a special issue on haptics and related areas. Haptics and tactile feedback systems are enhancing virtual environments to mobile systems and gaming interfaces. Because of the multidisciplinary nature of this topic, we invite original research papers (9000 words) in any discipline that demonstrates advancements in this field. JCISE will also accept application papers and technical briefs (5000 words) that address implementation issues. The submissions that are extended versions of previous conferences will be considered provided it contains substantial new material.

The following is a list of possible topics. Please note that this is not an exhaustive list and other multidisciplinary topics will be considered. ASME guidelines limit the size of the paper to 9000 words.
